Citi card descriptions are long — full merchant name, city and state — and routinely wrap onto a second line. The wrapped part carries no date and no amount, which is exactly the shape that turns into a phantom transaction.
What to check afterwards
Count your rows against the statement's own transaction count. More rows than transactions means wrapped descriptions were split; fewer means a page break swallowed something.
