Convert a statement, by bank
Any text-based PDF works on the main converter. The banks below have been checked against their real statement layout, so their particular quirks (split amount columns, wrapped descriptions, reference numbers) are already handled.
- ChaseDate · Description · Amount · Balance
- Bank of AmericaDate · Description · Amount · Balance
- Wells FargoDate · Description · Deposits · Withdrawals · Balance
- CitiDate · Description · Amount · Balance
- Capital OneDate · Description · Amount · Balance
- AmexDate · Description · Amount
- U.S. BankDate · Description · Ref Number · Amount
- PNCDate · Amount · Description
- TD BankDate · Description · Debit · Credit · Balance
- ChimeDate · Description · Amount · Balance
Your bank not here? The converter reads the columns from the statement itself, so it still works. This list is only where the layout has been verified by hand.
Why one converter is not enough
Every bank prints the same information and no two print it the same way. Across the 10 layouts checked here there are 5 different date formats. Some banks write 03/04, some 03/04/26, some Mar 4, and the first of those is genuinely ambiguous outside the United States.
The bigger split is how money is shown. 7 of these banks use a single amount column where money out carries a minus sign. The other 3 use two columns, debit and credit, and leave the one that does not apply blank. Read a two-column statement as if it were one-column and every withdrawal turns into a deposit, which is the kind of error that survives a glance and ruins a reconciliation.
That is what these pages are for. The converter reads the columns from the file rather than from a template, so an unlisted bank still works. The listed ones have had their output checked against the real statement by hand, which is a different and stronger claim.
Check for a CSV export first
This is against our interest and it is still the right advice. Many banks offer a CSV or OFX download next to the PDF, usually under a menu called export, download or activity. If yours does, take it. Data that was never flattened into a page layout cannot be misread coming back out.
Use a converter when the export is missing, when it only reaches back ninety days and you need the older months, or when the statement PDF is the document someone asked you for. That covers most cases, which is why this site exists, but it is worth thirty seconds of looking.
